Parker Retzlaff continues his hot streak as he wins at New Hampshire Motor Speedway for the NASCAR Roots iRacing Series on Monday (5/11) night. Retzlaff has won eight in a row, he has won four Grand National Tour iraces and four NASCAR Roots iRacing Series races in a row. The kid is truly unbeatable right now.
NASCAR Whelen Euro Series driver Andre Castro started on the pole and led the first half of the race. Barley a lap past halfway, short track star Ty Majeski caught leader Castro on the left rear and spun him as the leaders were getting ready to enter turn one.
iRacing then penalized Majeski deeming the contact between him and Castro avoidable, sending Majeski to the rear. The lead then turned over to Retzlaff, who had been running third right behind the top two.
Treyten Lapcevich and Layne Riggs both attempted to pass Retzlaff on the inside multiple times but neither could get the run they needed off the bottom. Retzlaff led the final 24 laps en route to the victory. Only eight drivers finished the race out of thirty.
