Kendall Gets Long Awaited Win for World of Outlaws Sprint Car iRacing Invitational

Robbie Kendall finally wins World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Invitational on Tuesday night (4/21) at virtual Williams Grove Speedway. Kendall had come so close in the previous six events. Kendall using the bottom got by pole sitter Logan Seavey with 15 to go.

When a caution came out with 6 to go, Kendall almost let seventh attempt at a win get away from him too as the caution lined Seavey and hard charger Mike McKinney back up behind him. McKinney had came all the way from 14th.

Seavey and McKinney went on attack mode for the short sprint to the finish, and made it three wide with 2 laps to go. Kendall using preciseness and composer prevailed to get his first World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Invitational win. Kendall not only got his first win but he brought home $1,000 in the process.

McKinney who in real life usually runs a DIRTcar UMP Modified has won a couple of World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model iRacing events already this year. He earned the KSE Hard Charger Award coming all the way from 14th to finish 2nd. NASCAR and iRacing star William Byron had an impressive drive started 19th and ended up in 7th.
