David Seibers wins at virtual Kokomo Speedway on Friday night (4/17) for the Lucas Oil eSports Late Models. Seibers ran second and third most of the night behind Kaeden Cornell and Corey Gordon but prevailed over both in the end.
Gordon took the lead from pole-sitter Kaeden Cornell on lap 12 but could not hold on as Cornell took it back on lap 30. It seemed as Cornell was going to lead from there on out but going into turn three on lap 62 he slowed and was turned by Seibers. Gordon who had been running second on the bottom, acquired the lead as he was able to avoid the spinning Cornell. Seibers and Gordon ran side by side for the next few laps but Seibers took control with 4 to go and went on to win. Kaedon Cornell who got a great restart battled back to finish second as Corey Gordon fell back to fourth. Mike McKinney who ran in the top five most of the night finished third to round out the podium.
